General Questions
Tripsdock
Why is my cost shown as estimated?

When you first register, trip costs are set as estimated figures. The organiser finalises each component — room assignments, ferry bookings, and any additional costs — as the trip progresses. Until everything is confirmed, your total is marked as estimated.

Tripsdock
When will my confirmed price be set?

Your organiser will finalise and confirm your cost once registration closes and all room and service details are locked in. You will see your confirmed cost in your participant dashboard once it has been set.

Tripsdock
Can my confirmed price change?

In most cases, once confirmed your price is final. In rare circumstances — such as a emergency hotel/destination changes or crossing changes, requiring costs to be recalculated — your organiser may need to adjust it. Any changes will be communicated to you directly.

Tripsdock
Who do I pay?

You pay your group organiser directly — not Tripsdock. Bank account details are provided by the organiser on each payment request. Tripsdock does not handle or hold participant payments.

Tripsdock
How do I make a payment?

Payments are made by bank transfer (BACS) directly to your organiser's account. The details are shown on your payment request. Always use the unique payment reference provided — this is how the organiser matches your payment to your booking.

Tripsdock
What if I don't use my payment reference?

Without your unique reference, your organiser may not be able to match your payment to your account, which can cause delays. Always copy the reference exactly as shown on your payment request, including any capitalisation or formatting.
